We are currently in a sermon series about our identity.
Who has the right to label you? Who gets to tell you who you are? We are in a cultural moment of identity crisis. We don't know who we are because we're listening to so many voices try to tell us! We don't know who we are because we've been told it's fluid - we can be anyone/anything we feel like being.
But the truth of the gospel is this: Only God has the right to tell you who you are. Before he formed you in the womb, he knew you. He has created you, redeemed you and called you his own. That's where the freedom is!
